A slightly older work. Fossilized angel executed in oil glaze over textured acrylic, 24" x 24".

*zen0, has opened our eyes and our souls with this one. Normally, we see Angels depicted in what others call beautiful. This artist however, did things a bit different. By combining an excellent replication of a fossilized skeleton with an angelic presence, the artist created his own definition of beautiful. Please view Fossil Angel and see for yourself. you achieved the fossil look perfectly, i love the pose.. and the textures =c)

A little too pixel-ish sometimes around the bones and such. Other than that this is a magnificent piece. Great composition. I love the detailing of the background. You need to either get a better scanner or, if you have a scanner, get a better one. The actually piece must look really good. Nod

This is a beautyful piece...I love the texture and the colors, and the irony of a winged angel trapped in dirt and stone.

Not how one usually pictures angels.. but I think thats what I like best about this.. Very different.. Very interesting.

Thanks. I'm using it as part of the identity on my website, too. I'm happier with the piece than any of the photos I've taken of it so far. It is a hard one to shoot.
